Neel's blog

When creating a blog, you immediately subscribe to the pressure of keeping it up to date with regular activity. Most academic blogs contain a burst of activity at creation and then turn into dust-collections with outdated info and links that do not work. My best-case scenario is that this blog will both host random research thouhgts, as well as more polished posts for papers that I publish, where I present my arguments and evidence in more accessible formats, perhaps with more dynamic elements like GIFs or even interactive charts. Here, I really look up to the blogs by Lena Voita, Laura Ruis, Andrej Karpathy, and Daniela Ivanova. I will almost certainly fail to live up to the high bar that they set, but I think it's always good to have a north star.
